When the grandmother of the advertising agent Karin (Gina Phillips) dies, she inherits her property in fields. She travels with her boyfriend Jeff (Randall Batinkoff) for weekend, but she decides to stay along the week by rehabilitating the place and by wrapping knack. Karin has horrible nightmares and visions of ghosts of the past, while she remains in the home with the ugly governess Pierce (Tom Sizemore) and her sister more young person Wendy (Spinning jenny Mollen).
