The departure of Las Vegas is a film of romantic drama 1995 of a report between a suicidal alcoholic and a prostitute of Las Vegas, Nicolas Cage star and Elizabeth Shue. The film was run and written by Mike Figgis, based on a semi-autobiographic novel by John O' Brien. Two weeks after the production of the film had begun, O' Brien committed suicide. A stopping of plan was considered, but to work on the film was continued as a memorial of kinds. A. l'existence, il part pour les lumières de Vegas sur une mission : se boire à mort. Là il rencontre des Sérums, un beau, vu - cela tout le talonneur. À partir du moment Ben et Sérums communiquent, ils forment une obligation unique basée sur le respect d'acceptation et réciproque sans condition qui changera chacun d'entre eux pour toujours. Le film a été dirigé et écrit par Mike Figgis, basé sur un roman semi-autobiographique par John O'Brien. Deux semaines après que la production du film avait commencé, O'Brien s'est suicidé. Un arrêt du projet a été considéré, mais travailler sur le film a été continué comme un mémorial de sortes.
