Plot Summary: Benjamin Stone is a young doctor who goes to L. Where he was offered a new job as a specialist for plastic surgery in Beverly Hills. He gets out of the highway to avoid a back up, but is lost and ends to crash against a fence in the small town of Grady. He is condemned to 32 hours of the social service in the local hospital. Everything what he wants should serve the sentence and get moving, but bit by bit the local are added to the new doctor, and he is taken in by the pretty ambulance driver, Lou. Will he depart?.
Benjamin Stone ist ein junger Arzt, der zu L fährt. Wo er ein neuer Job als ein Facharzt für plastische Chirurgie in Beverly Hills angeboten wurde. Er steigt aus der Autobahn aus, um einen Rückstau zu vermeiden, aber wird verloren und endet damit, gegen einen Zaun in der kleinen Stadt von Grady zu krachen. Er wird zu 32 Stunden des sozialen Dienstes im lokalen Krankenhaus verurteilt. Alles, was er will, soll dem Satz dienen und das Bewegen bekommen, aber allmählich werden die Ortsansässigen beigefügt dem neuen Arzt, und er fällt auf den hübschen Krankenwagen-Fahrer, Lou rein. Wird er abreisen?.
