Plot Summary: The architect Michael Newman has a family of typical middle class with his enchanting wife and magnificent Donna and his son Ben and the daughter Samantha, and a constant visit of his parents. Nevertheless, Michael is a hard worker and below stress, trying to satisfy his chief with the extraordinary work and to acquire a society in his company, giving priority over his work and neglecting the questions of family. When tired Michael is going to a department shop to buy a universal remote control, he rests on a bed and he finds the strange seller Morty that offers a remote control able to control his universe itself. Michael uses too much and loses the control of the device, controlling his life itself for the remote control. Then Michael sees the parts of merit of his personal life to which it links it was lacking working, and in the end of his life he recently ends that the family comes first.
O arquiteto Michael Newman tem uma família de classe média típica com sua esposa encantadora e magnífica Donna e seu filho Ben e a filha Samantha, e uma visita constante dos seus pais. Contudo, Michael é burro de carga e abaixo de stress, tentando satisfazer o seu chefe com o trabalho extraordinário e adquirir uma sociedade na sua companhia, dando prioridade sobre o seu trabalho e negligenciando as questões de família. Quando Michael cansado vai a uma loja de departamento comprar um controle remoto universal, ele apóia-se em uma cama e ele encontra o vendedor esquisito Morty que lhe oferece um controle remoto capaz de controlar o seu próprio universo. Michael usa demasiado e perde o controle do dispositivo, controlando a sua própria vida pelo controle remoto. Então Michael vê as partes de mérito da sua vida pessoal à qual ele faltou trabalhando, e no fim da sua vida ele ultimamente conclui que a família vem primeiro.
