Plot Summary: In the course of the fifties, in Louisiana, the clever, manipulative populist and the plouc of wolf Willie Stark is elected the governor with the support of the lower social classes. He joins a team composed of his boy de Sucre of friend and bodyguard; the journalist of an aristocratic family Jack Burden; the very small lobbyst Duffy; and his mistress Sadie Burke, to face up the opposition of aristocracies. When influential Judge Irwin supports a group of politicians in their request of indictment, indicates Jack Completely to find a dirtiness along Irwin's life, by leading to a tragedy at the end.
