Andrew Astor was welcomed into the world on June 7, 2000 to a large family in Scottsdale, Arizona. Andrew became involved with acting by watching his older sister, Isabella Astor. Andrew Astor was welcomed into the world on June 7, 2000 to a large family in Scottsdale, Arizona. Andrew became involved with acting by watching his older sister, Isabella Astor. Andrew's first role was in the feature film called "The Kingdom (2007)" from Universal Pictures; directed by Peter Berg . Andrew had so much fun working with Peter Berg, that he decided he wanted to try acting full time. He says that when he grows up, he also wants to be a director just like Peter. In addition to several national TV commercials, Andrew also has enjoyed playing a variety of characters including Young President George W. Bush for the MTV series "Human Giant" (2007)", Robert Darling, son of Patrick Darling (William Baldwin ) on the ABC television series "Dirty Sexy Money" (2007)", Gerry Respola, Jr. on the AMC series, "Mad Men" (2007)". His work with Holly Hunter & Leon Rippy on Saving Grace was a role that challenged him as a young actor as he was severely burned on his face, arms and hands. Holly, Leon & the rest of the cast & crew had great faith in Andrew for this role and really helped him to grow as an actor which then led him to be prepared to work with the cast & crew of "ER" (1994)" which was another positive experience for Andrew. For Andrew's role in the film, "Opposite Day (2009)", he was an innocent homeless kid but with attitude and in many of his scenes, he was reminiscent of a young Dustin Hoffman. Most recently, he just finished filming a movie called "Santa Buddies (2009)" in Vancouver, which according to him, was one of the "funest projects ever".  hide
